The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)” declared as pandemic disease has stalled human life. We all know how this is spreading and affecting the life.

But Do you know?

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

What is new to us?

This new virus is not that simple. This causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing.

Corona Symptoms

Do’s

  • Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
  • Drink hot water
  • To increase your immunity to fight with corona virus take things like Lemons, Tulsi, Turmeric, Papayas, orange, kiwi etc. Black pepper is very helpful to grow your immunity power.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
  • Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
  • Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell

Don’t

  • Do not touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean
  • No Hug, No Kiss, No Handshakes ….Indian way “Namaste” is best 😉

Be healthy, be happyMore or less we all are health conscious. We do go to yoga, gym or pilates studio and do workouts. But All these now have stopped. But you DON’T. Your aim should be “Be Healthy Be Happy”. So why don’t you take part in PLANK challenge!!! Post your photo with number of minutes you have done Plank and challenge your Friend as well.

Take a ripe tomato and put it in soil and in no time you will see some saplings coming out.

RecipesYou can also try out some new recipes which you thought will do when get some time. Now is the time. Utilize it to the fullest. Make new dishes and surprise your dear ones.

This will be one of the best gift to your dear ones in this Quarantine.

06 – Write Something

WritingYou can pen down some memorable travel story or some romantic poem etc.

07 – Spend quality time with your family

Families are utmost importance to us. We do all hardships for our families which consist of our near and dear ones. Spend quality time with them. In this “Rat race” we hardly get time to mingle with them. We are always ready with excuses “Office work”, “Meetings” and so on…

I’m not again telling you to ignore your priorities but since you are now doing your “work” from “home” you easily can make out some time for them and make it memorable.

Everything has both its positive and negative sides. This situation is not an exception to this rule. Out of every negativity we have to find out the positive side and live our life. Things will be in control some day. We will be back to our normal lives in near future. However the mark this virus has kept in our lives will be remembered life long. Now it depends on you how you like to remember. Do you want to remember as a “nightmare”? or through this tough situation you want to create some beautiful memories as much as possible and store it for life long. It is in your hand!

Living a quarantine life is very easy if you are busy! Busy doesn’t mean you have to step out of house. Busy means making good use of this time and utilize it in brushing up your skills or discover something which is not yet discovered. Known as the most popular national reserve of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park welcomes you to take a walk amidst the free-ranging African elephants. Crowned by the highest peak of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, this National Reserve occupies 39,206 hectares of land and spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The name Amboseli is derived from a Maasai word that means ‘Salty dust’. The parched condition of this national park goes perfectly with its name.

Major wildlife spotted during the Amboseli National Park safari is a cheetah, lion, waterbuck, eland, impala, giraffe, etc. The most amazing Amboseli National Park fact is that it houses more than 600 different species of birds. Interacting with the local Maasai people residing around the park is also an experience of a lifetime.

The major attractions in Amboseli national park are

Elephant research camp-

The research camp is established at the heart of the park for the research of African elephants. It requires prior permission to enter the research camp.

Normatior(Observation hill)-

The Pyramid shaped hill allows you to enjoy the wildlife view.

Amboseli Lake-

Most of North West of the park is occupied by this lake. It generally remains dry except heavy rain.

Sinet Delta-

Popular for bird watching.

The most of the population in Amboseli is Massai tribe. They are the only traditional inhabitant of this area and their foods, customs and culture are still unique and also displayed in most of the resorts.

Amboseli National Park is approximately 240 kilometers away from Nairobi. You may visit Amboseli by driving or you may avail of a flight from Nairobi. You may visit Amboseli anytime in the year; however, it is preferable to visit in the dry season, which is June to October and January to February.

Lake Bogoria, lying slightly north of the equator, is a saline-alkaline lake. It is situated amidst a half-barren land in a volcanic region to the southern part of Lake Baringo. The world’s largest population of the famous lesser flamingos can be spotted in Lake Bogoria just like in Lake Nakuru. This lake falls under the Ramsar treaty and within the lake lies, the protected National Reserve named the Lake Bogoria National Reserve.

The drainage basin of the lake covers an area of 700 sq. km. The National Reserve within the lake, houses features like the Swamp Kesubo in the North and the Siracho Escarpment in the east. Hot springs and geysers are also popular attractions within the lake.

The main attraction of the lake is flamingos and eyewitness spooky evidence of the ongoing tumult beneath Earth’s surface. In the early morning, the steam coming from Brogoria’sGeysar forms a mistry. A rare animal greater kudu is also found in Bogoria. It has wide ears, vertical white striped body, and a tell-tale white chevron between the eyes. It can be easily identified by its large spiral horns. The lake can also offer you to see Grant’s gazelle, Kirk’s dik-dik, baboon, buffaloes, etc.

The lake is highly alkaline and twice as salty as seawater, it can’t support fish however it contains an unusual array of microbes and microorganisms from which enzymes are being produced. The enzymes can be used as antibiotics, cleaning products.

Bogoria has spiritual and cultural worth for Endorosis people, who are living beside Bogoria Lake for centuries.

Lake Bogoria is situated 250 Km away from Nairobi. You can either join a safari tour in Nairobi or you may rent a car and visit the Lake independently. Visit Bogoria Lake anytime in the year as the area enhances your enjoyment with moderate temperature and seasonal rains. The best time is June to October as it is considered a dry cool season.

Covid -19 the pandemic disease which not only causes disaster to human lives but stalled it as well. Everything has its own positive and negative side and covid-19 is not an exception to this rule.

As humans are forced to stay in the house, so the pollution has come down. Mother Earth is healing herself. The “COVID+ve” has made The NATURE pollution-free and NATURE is fine without “HUMANS” so after this CORONA EPISODE when everything is back to normal then men should realise that they are GUEST TO NATURE NOT MASTERS!
